When and where are the Chapter's meetings held?

Every Monday (excluding holidays)
7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Legislative Chambers, TSU, CSUF

Directions to General Business Meeting

From the 10 or 60 Freeway:

Take the 57 Freeway South
Exit Yorba Linda Blvd
Turn Right onto Yorba Linda Blvd (towards CSUF)
Turn Left onto State College Blvd
Turn Left at Dorothy Lane (the first signal)

From the 91 Freeway:

Take the 57 Freeway North
Exit Nutwood
Turn Left onto Nutwood (towards CSUF)
Turn Right onto State College Blvd
Turn Right onto Dorothy Lane (the first signal)

Then:

In front of you is the Titan Student Union (TSU)
Turn Left at the fork in the road (towards the parking lot)
Parking permit is located in the far left-hand corner
Pay for your daily parking permit
Park anywhere once you have your permit

Ask for diections to Legislative Chambers

What is Delta Sigma Pi?

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional business Fraternity for both men and women, who are student of the College of Business and Economics.We are the largest business Fraternity in the world, with 250 chapters nationwide and nearly 200,000 members worldwide.

What is pledging?

Pledging is a learning period, where you will get to know more about the Fraternity and the operations of the Chapter. This will be useful so that if and when you get initiated, you are familiar with how the chapter operates.

Do I have to show up to all the recruiting events to pledge?

No, but it is highly encouraged that you attend as many events as you can. This way you can find out whether the fraternity is something that you are interested.

How long is membership for?

Membership is for life.

What do I need to do to pledge Delta Sigma Pi?

The following:

  1. Attend as many recruiting events as possible
  2. Introduce yourself
  3. Evaluate us

Does everyone become a Pledge who wants to join Delta Sigma Pi?

No. We are a fraternity. This means that we limit our membership by vote of the chapter members.

Who can join?

Any student (male or female) from the School of Business and Economics. The student must be in good standing and have one semester remaining at CSU Fullerton. He or she may not be a member of another professional fraternity.

When is recruiting?

Recruiting runs during the first three weeks of each semester.

What are your activities?

We have a lot of different activities.
- Professional: seminars, conferences, meetings, guest speakers, office tours, etc.
- Community Service: volunteer work, convalescent home visits, food/clothing drive.
- Fundraising: ushering at concerts, bake sales, tv tapings, etc.
- Social: banquets, social events with other chapters, BBQ, gift exchanges, etc.

Where is the Central Office of Delta Sigma Pi located?

The Central Office, near Cincinnati, is geographically located in the heart of the Fraternity's activities. The headquarters is adjacent to the Miami University campus which affords a true college atmosphere and a perfect environment for the national operation.

What types of educational opportunities are offered by Delta Sigma Pi?

Delta Sigma Pi offers a number of educational opportunities year-round for both collegian and alumni members and affiliates of the Fraternity. LEAD (Leadership and Excellence Academies) events are offered in both the form of the LEAD Provincial Conferences and LEAD Schools. LEAD Provincial Conferences are two to three day events focusing on personal, professional, leadership and fraternal development with awards presentations and social events rounding out the weekend. LEAD Schools are one-day training events which focus on individual development in areas of leadership, personal and professional growth. Additional educational opportunities are offered with Volunteer Leadership Development Workshops where training is offered to better prepare potential Delta Sigma Pi volunteer leaders. More opportunities also exist with the Fraternity’s Grand Chapter Congress, held in August of odd-numbered years and with the Delta Sigma Pi LeaderShape Institute, now the premier annual leadership training event.
